Great Tour and Imperials

Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Beni Mellal – Khenifra – Meknès – Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Imilchil – Ait Hani – Amellago – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chabbi – Alnif – Tinghir – Jebel Sahro – Zagora – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Taliouline – Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira

Day 1:   Marrakech

Meeting at the airport and moving to the hotel, according to hour of arrival if it is possibly  visit to the city, to the well-known square of Jemaa El Fna (Jamaa El Fna, Djemaa El Fna).

Day 2:   Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Beni Mellal

In the morning we will move until Ouzoud where we will visit the cascade, an impressive landscape of the major waterfalls of some 110m of fall. During this visit it will be possible to be observed the flora and local fauna (is very probable to see small monkeys) while we eat in the traditional food stalls. Possible swim in the river.
We will continue to enjoy the vast lake “Bin el ouidane” located in the High Atlas. To reach Beni Mellal pass through the village of Afourer located in the Atlas Mountains, while we stop to enjoy the scenery of the Middle Atlas. When arriving at Beni Mellal, small city with immense plantations of olive trees, fig trees, peach trees… we stay and have dinner.

Day 3:    Beni Mellal – Khenifra – Meknès – Fez

We leave after breakfast towards Meknes, to cross the Middle Atlas. Arriving in Meknes visit the city, the square of the wool, the tomb of Moulay Ismail …
Later we move to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you can visit this Roman city.
At sunset to end the day today come to Fez where we stay.

Day 4: Fez – Fez

We dedicate all day to discover Fez, a wonderful city with its own personality. This city is divided into two parts: the Bali Fez  (old) VIII century and the Jedid Fez (new). In the morning we will know the old town, a maze of narrow over 7000 streets, some without exit, other covers, smells, sounds …
Visit to different neighborhoods, one of the Tanners where will see some of the most impressive traditions of the area, where every day workers dyeing hides inside little pools filled with chemical dyes and cow urine.
Late in the afternoon we will move to the new city.

Day 5:   Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Imilchil

After breakfast we drive to Ifrane and Azrou, through the forest of cedars where we can find wild macaque monkeys with the possibility of a walk.
To Continue the journey to end in Imilchil.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 6:   Imilchil – Ait Hani – Amellago – Erfoud – Merzouga

Following up early visit to the traditional village of stone and adobe, we go to a place that every year hosts one of the most important celebrations, the weddings museum, where the Berbers come to marry or separate “Ait Haddidu”. Following we drive to the lakes of Tislit (girl) and Iseli (boys) where we will stop and then resume the march towards Ait Hani, the small village in the central atlas, a small military garrison, which is very reminiscent of army troops Pancho Villa. We will continue to reach Amellago gorges where we can relax and enjoy the landscape.
Continuing the journey to Merzouga, on the way we pass the town of Erfoud where we visit a workshop of fossils. After the visit we will continue to reach Merzouga.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Merzouga – Erg Chabbi

Morning visit the city and later we drive to the sea of dunes of Erg Chebbi, where camels waiting for us to move up the Haimas, located in the desert where most likely we will witness a fantastic sunset, besides the typical dinner followed by an evening with music from the desert nomads.
During the evening we will enjoy the absence of light pollution, watching thousands of stars.

Day 8: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tinghir – Todra Gorges

We start early to watch the sunrise from the top of the highest dunes in Morocco.
Camels then take us to the hotel for a good shower and a good breakfast.
We continue the path following the road through the villages where henna is grown, to the city of RISSANI; Alawite dynasty origin and the first imperial city of the country. Its great souk under its red portals, and numerous Ksours (palaces). Then continue the way to ALNIF village.
After lunch, we will take the road through JBEL OUGNAT bound TINGHIR and the impressives TODRA GORGES. In this area the water has carved a canyon whose walls can reach over 300m height, once here visit the area on foot with possibility to refresh in the river.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 9:   Tinghir – Jebel Sahro – Zagora

After breakfast we continue towards Tinghir, to visit its streets full of different shops.
Towards evening we arrive at Zagora “the gateway to the desert” to be able to visit the town.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 10:   Zagora – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

In the morning we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate.
Upon reaching Ouarzazate you can visit the lake, and after taking a walk retake the route to Ait Ben Haddou, stunning place, visit the kasbah where famous movies were filmed as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Obelix, Sahara with Penelope Cruz.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 11:   Ait Ben Haddou – Taliouline – Taroudant

After breakfast to reach Taroudant we pass by Taliouline, which is known for saffron extracted from the flowers of the fields. Option to stroll through the fields.
Arriving in Taroudant, the city with towering walls of adobe, dotted with square towers with a buggy 7km walk around the wall may discover the 5 doors of Bab El Kasba which is the main and most majestic great gardens surrounding the city, the medina and souks are very lively.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira

Today In the morning we will follow the path of Essaouira, passing for Agadir; where we can enjoy the sandy beach of about 10Km.
We continue until you reach the fishing town of Essaouira. Once housed visit the city, its port, the old part …

Day 13:  Essaouira – Marrakech

Once breakfasted we can enjoy its beach, its shops, restaurants …
Around noon we will go to Marrakech. Arriving in Marrakech visit the main square Jemma El Fna, which every evening becomes the main focus with various shows musicians, snake charmers …. All around are restaurants with magnificent views of the city.
Overnight at Hotel or Riad.

Day 14:   Marrakech – Marrakech

Visit the red city of Marrakech, with its ancient medina their souks your famous square Jamaa El Fna (Jemaa el Fna, Djemaa el Fna).

Day 15: Marrakech – End Travel.

Transfer to the airport, with the hope the trip was very well.
